The Respiratory Department Holds Work Summary and Planning Conference

A few days ago, the annual work summary and planning of 2016 meeting was held for all medical staff of the Respiratory Department under the leadership of the Director Li Qiang on weekends.
Deputy Director Zhang Min reported the result of the "1000-Score Exam" made by the Department in 2015, sixth among the system of internal medicine. He stated the scoring items of his department at both the southern and northern branches in the past year, such as medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and spiritual civilization, and put forward rectification measures and approaches for the other items (scientific research fund, achievement and teaching result). Director Ben Suqin summarized the achievement made by the Respiratory Department at the Southern Branch in 2015 and proposed the new moves on the outpatient and ward work of 2016, such as setting up more specialized outpatients and adjusting the disease type of the inpatients oriented to key, difficult and characteristic cases. After summarizing the nursing achievement of the Respiratory Department at the Northern Branch in 2015, Head Nurse Zhu Hui came up with the nursing work plan, such as constructing subspecialty nursing team, optimizing nurse structure, guaranteeing the treatment and nursing safety of the patients and strengthening medical and nursing communication and collaboration. Technician Bao Luhong introduced the development achievement and work plan of the Pulmonary Function Room and Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Center.
Director Li Qiang presented the work plans of the Respiratory Department at both southern and northern branches of the Hospital in 2016. In terms of medical treatment, specific plans and measures on construction of the three subspecialties including interventional respiratory medicine, critical respiratory disease and chronic airway disease, change of disease type reception and treatment structure, improvement of bed usage rate, growth of discipline influence and expansion of radiation scope were formulated. In teaching, relevant requirements and methods on strengthening teaching consciousness, improving the standardized training of resident doctors and specialists, expanding the scope of the doctors engaging in advanced studies, writing teaching papers, holding teaching lectures, hosting continuing education and preparing academic meeting were put forward. As for scientific research, practical goals of the paper quantity, scientific research achievement and declaration of research project were set.
The meeting was in a warm atmosphere. Medical staff of the Department said that they would combine their own conditions, work out their own work plan based on that of the Department and strive for making more and better achievement on medical, teaching and research aspects.
