His main research directions are early diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of lung cancer as well as pathogenesis and prevention of acute lung injury. He has 4 projects in research, including two National Natural Foundation Surface Projects, one National Health and Family Planning Commission Major Industry Project and one Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Project.
He has got a total of more than 180 articles published, among which SCI included over 40 articles, cumulative impact factor: 184, cited more than 300 times. In addition, he has edited and published 6 monographs. 14 national patents，including 5 invention patents have been achieved. He has also received Shanghai Municipal and the Military Science and Technology Award for 6 times.
