He chaired and completed nine national, army and Shanghai key medical tasks, with scientific research fund more than RMB 3 million. He published 155 academic papers as the first author and corresponding author. In addition, he compiled three monographs as the chief editor and participated in compiling over 30 monographs. He introduced the concept of minimally invasive treatment into orthopedic trauma field early in China. He is specialized in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of multiple injury, severe pelvic fracture, fracture surrounding the joint, nonunion and osteomyelitis.
