He primarily engages in the clinical and scientific research of E.N.T.-Head and Neck with proficient operation skills and techniques in diagnosing and treating difficult diseases. Furthermore, he also conducts the diagnosis and treatment of the clinical and basic research of larynx tumor, diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea syndrome and voice diseases. He is able to perform various larynx, subtotal laryngectomy and voice reconstruction surgery, radical or selective neck dissection, total laryngectomy, resection of hypopharyngeal neoplasms and laryngeal function reconstruction, pectoralis major skin flap plasty, deltopectoral flap plasty, tracheostomy recoccurence cancer operation, maxillectomy and exenteration of orbit, tongue root excision, subtotal thyroidectomy, laser operation under micro-laryngoscope, radical mastoidectomy, plastic operation for laryngotracheal stenosis, lateral skull base surgery, parotidectomy, esophageal reconstruction with stomach, esophageal reconstruction with colon by cooperating with the department of surgery.
