2.300th Donation of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Completed at Our Hospital

In the morning of Apr. 18, Red Cross Society of China Shanghai Branch, China Communist Youth League Shanghai Committee and Shanghai Jiao Tong University held "Shanghai Commending and Greeting Ceremony for 300th Case of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donation" in our hospital. Li Minglei, Vice Chairman of Red Cross Society of China Shanghai Branch, Yang Yuanfei, Deputy Secretary of China Communist Youth League Shanghai Committee, Zhang Ansheng, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sun Dalin, Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Xia Xiaohe, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Feng Yun, Secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, attended the ceremony and greeted Mr. Miao, the hematopoietic stem cell donor and a student of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in stomatology.

In 1992, Red Cross Society of China Shanghai Branch took the charge of unrelated hematopoietic stem cell donation. Currently, 300 unrelated donors have successfully donated their peripheral blood stem cells in Shanghai.
