Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Workshop for Treating Intractable Cases

We successfully held the multidisciplinary team (MDT) seminar on March 30th 2016. We hold the MDT seminar each Quarter, and the topic is on neurogenic diseases in this workshop.
The workshop was presided by Prof. Yuncheng Wu. Experts from various departments, including Prof. Wei Zhang, a specialist on molecular genetics, biochemical genetics and mitochondrial disorders from Baylor College of medicine, Dr. Zhaorui Yang from Department of Pathology, Dr. Genquan Zhou from Department of Radiology, Dr. Qin Li from Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Jiayi Wang on Neuroelectrophysiology, etc, attended the workshop.

Prof. Wei Zhang started the meeting with an splendid lecture of the diagnosis and therapy on genetic diseases. Then doctors from our department reported three cases (Cerebrotendinous Xanthomatosis, Isaacs Syndrome, Neurofibromatosis type 2) among the series of neurogenetic cases we had admitted recently.
