Shanghai Continuing Medical Education Class: "New Progress of Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastrointestinal Diseases Treated by Combination of Chinese and Western Medicine "

From 23th December to 25th December, Shanghai continuing medical project "New Progress of Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastrointestinal Diseases Treated by Combination of Chinese and Western Medicine " was held as scheduled by the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine in our hospital.
More than 10 professors make speeches, such as Prof. Zhu Jinshui, Zhang Cunjun, Tang Zhipeng, Li Yong, Lin Jiang, Wang Xiaosu and Wang Songpo and so on, covering the main contents and spirit of the National Spleen and Stomach Diseases Conference in 2016, research progress of combination of Chinese and western medicine treating common and difficult gastrointestinal diseases, and related diagnosis and treatment experience. In classes, there was a special introduction on the "Zhang internal medicine" genre including its origins, herbs selection characteristics for spleen and stomach diseases, and the application of herbal paste. And there were nearly 100 doctors from the city’s other hospitals at all levels. The course arrangement was compact, and fully reflected the development and progress of gastrointestinal diseases’ diagnosis and treatment in the field of Chinese and Western medicine. The successful holding of this class further demonstrated the image of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine in our hospital, expanding the academic impact of Traditional Chinese medicine, thus it had played a positive role in promoting the development of TCM spleen and stomach diseases science in our hospital.
