He conducted short-term research and studies in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and took the post of scientific research officer of The University of Melbourne during 1999 - 2002. He is the Member of Skin Disease Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of Skin Disease Branch of Shanghai Medical Association and Leader of Sexually Transmitted Disease Group, Member of Skin Disease Branch of Shanghai Association of Chinese Integrative Medicine and Expert of Shanghai Sexually Transmitted Disease Quality Control Committee. He has made in-depth study on leucoderma, lupus erythematosus, sexually transmitted disease and laser medicine. He is specialized in diagnosis and treatment of leucoderma, fungal disease, sexually transmitted disease, lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, acne and eczematous dermatitis. He is familiar with immune photomedicine treatment technology and is able to conduct characteristic treatment such as medical cosmetology. He was granted several tasks of Shanghai Science and Technology Committee and Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. Presently, the Department has published more than 40 academic papers on international and domestic journals including over 7 SCI articles, complied and participated in compiling five monographs.
