  1. PET-CT examination
    The PET-CT Center, located at the Department of Nuclear Medicine of G outpatient zone at the Southern Branch of the Hospital, has the most advanced molecular imaging equipment Discovery STE 16 PET-CT of US GE company. PET-CT plays a key role in diagnosis of various tumors, staging and treatment effect monitoring, diagnosis of nerve and heart diseases and treatment effect monitoring.

  2. PECT/CT and SPECT examination
    The Department of Nuclear Medicine is equipped with the latest Precedence SPECT/CT imager of Philips which compared to the traditional SPECT, it has a 16-row scanner with a high resolution ratio, can complete synchronous SPECT and CT scanning and discover many diseases. Relevant items that it conduct include the SPECT or SPECT/CT imaging of thyroid, parathyroid glands, skeleton, kidney, heart and cerebral vessels, sialaden and other tissue and organ related diseases.

  3. Bone densitometry
    Osteoporosis, the disease easily to be affected by the middle aged and elderly people (especially female), has such primary clinical manifestations as ostealgia, shrinking in weight, physical decline and fracture. It is usually torturous for the patients with such disease. Osteoporosis has a high morbidity. The mobility of women aged 60-70 is 30% and that of women aged 80 or above is 67%. Bone density measurement is a golden standard for diagnosing osteoporosis. Its dual energy X-ray bone density tester manufactured by GE company is the most accurate equipment for bone density measurement at present.

  4. Medical examination
    The medical examination items of our department including measurement of thyroid related indexes, measurement of all sex hormone indexes, measurement of hepatic fibrosis related factors and measurement of β-HCG. The examination time is from Monday to Friday.

  5. Radionuclide treatment
    Our department performs such radionuclide treatment items as iodine-131 isotope treatment of hyperthyroidism, strontium-89 isotope treatment of bone metastases and radiative iodine-125 particle implantation in tumor.
