He graduated from The Second Military Medical University in 1991 and its graduate school in doctor’s degree in 1998. He went to Germany, US, Japan and Australia for short-term exchange in 2008 and 2011.
Now he is the Middle-Aged and Young Member in Neurosurgery of Chinese Medical Association, Member of Shanghai Neurosurgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association, National Member of Specialized Neurotrauma Group of Chinese Trauma Association, Member of Shanghai Neurosurgery Quality Control Center, Deputy Chief of Medical Ethics and Medical Work Group of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and "Wang Zhongcheng Chinese Middle-Aged and Young Physician in Neurosurgery" of 2012.
He is skillful in microneurosurgery and endoscopic neurosurgery and has a good knowledge of neural tumor, cerebrovascular disease and spinal surgery. He primarily engages in the clinical and research work of glioma, hypophysoma, meningeoma, acoustic neuroma, arterial aneurysm, spinal tumor, minimally invasive and individualized operation. He has got surgical experience of over 1000 glioma operations, 800 meningeoma operations, 500 hypophysoma operations, 250 arterial aneurysm operations and 150 acoustic neuroma operations as well as rich clinical experience on more than 4000 nervous system operations. He performed the large navigation-assisted resection of pituitary adenoma via sphenoid sinus, large resection of acoustic neuroma with small incision, navigation-assisted minimally invasive ventricle tumor resection, individualized diagnosis and treatment of glioma, aneurysm clipping with small incision, large aneurysm excision, arterial bypass and revascularization, spinal tumor resection + internal fixation and reconstruction early in China.
He participated in the National Science and Technology "863" Project and "973" Project. He chaired three National Natural Science Funds including No.30100192 Multiple-Factor Analysis on Spongioblastoma Proliferation and Invasion Related Gene Group, No. 30271393 Research on Differentiation of Neural Stem Cell Towards Retinal Ganglion Cell and No. 30900192 Research on Differentiation Trend Relationship of Autophagy and Glioma Stem Cells; two Shanghai Science and Technology Committee Funds including No.12JC1406200 Whole Genome Analysis of Meningeoma and Molecular Pathological Type and No. 11ZR1428500 Research on Mechanism of Restricting Differentiation of Glioma Stem Cells Caused by Low Autophagy Activity; won the Second Prize for Shanghai Science and Technology Achievement as the first undertaker with No. 20032094 Experiment Research on Immunotherapy for Human Brain Glioma with Anti-CD3-Glioma Resistant Bispecific Antibody; published more than 80 papers and 10 SCI papers. He participated in writing four neurosurgery monographs and cultivated 10 graduate students.
