Profile

Dr. Wang earned his MD from Southeast University School of Medicine at 2000, and PhD in Medical Imaging & Nuclear Medicine from SJTU school of Medicine at 2010. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship in Image-guided Bio-molecular Interventions at University of Washington, and won the RSNA Trainee Prize (Fellow Award) at 2012. He was awarded the Huaxia Medical Award and Chinese Medical Technology Award at 2016, won the Science and Technology Progress Award of Shanghai at 2014, the Shanghai Medical Technology Award at 2012. He also won the Silver Snake prize, the highest honor award of youth physician of Shanghai at 2015. Wang is currently a committee member of molecular imaging section, Chinese Society of Radiology, the committee member of micro- and non-invasive medicine section, Chinese Physician Association, and the committee member of Shanghai Radiology Association. He has served as the principle investigator for one Key R & D programs of Ministry of Science and Technology of China, three research programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China and one Key Program of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. He also served as PI for the Shanghai outstanding academic leaders program and the Shanghai Pujiang program. To date, he has contributed over 60 publications to the literature.
