Clinical Insights: Bidirectional Empowerment of Techniques and Experience
During the clinical exchange session, Professor Huang Chen’s team, including Han Chao and Fang Yuan, shared cutting-edge surgical cases and innovative techniques in general surgery. The delegation then toured the inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and operating theaters, observing surgeries performed by teams led by Professors Huang Chen, Qiu Zhengjun, and Zhang Renchao. The live procedures prompted real-time discussions on operative techniques and perioperative management. Post-operation, both sides further discussed clinical pathways and research progress, referencing publications by Huang’s team such as Clinical Practice of Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment for Gastric Cancer and Colorectal Cancer Management: New Thinking, New Exploration.
From hands-on surgical demonstrations to in-depth academic review, the collaboration fostered mutual empowerment in both technical expertise and clinical experience, paving the way for further development in precision medicine.
