Wang Yufan, Director of Secretory Metabolism Department of Shanghai General Hospital, was awarded the title of "5th Shanghai Most Beautiful Physician"

On March 1st, the 5th "Shanghai Most Beautiful Physician Award" and the 4th "Shanghai Magnolia Medical Women Achievement Award" organized by the Shanghai Women's Physicians Association were announced. Wang Yufan, Director of the Endocrine Metabolism Department at the First People's Hospital of Shanghai, was awarded the titles of "5th Shanghai Most Beautiful Physician" and "Shanghai Women's Merit Model".

Director of the Endocrine Metabolism Department of Shanghai General Hospital, and also a member of the Pregnancy diabetes Group of the diabetes Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the New Technology Group for Blood Glucose Monitoring and Treatment of the diabetes Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the vice chairman of the Endocrine Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, the vice chairman of the Integrated Medicine Branch of the Shanghai Physicians Association, the vice chairman of the diabetes Rehabilitation Committee of the Shanghai Rehabilitation Medical Engineering Research Association, and the editorial board member of the World Journal of Clinical Medicine.
Dr. Wang Yufan is committed to regional management of diabetes and integrated management of pregnancy with endocrine diseases. She led the Endocrine Metabolism Department team of Shanghai General Hospital to build one of the first 16 National Standardized Metabolic Disease Management Centers (MMC), and pioneered the creation of the MMC1+X model in the Songjiang region nationwide. Her center once received honors such as MMC's "Top 10 Centers," "Excellent Individuals," "Provincial Management Center," and "Demonstration Center," as well as the "Sugar Mom Care" Women's Innovation Studio of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions. As the first person in charge, She undertook more than 20 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and as the first author or corresponding author, she published more than 50 papers in journals such as NATURE COMMUNICATIONS, JCEM, and THYROID. She once won honors such as the 2nd "Medical Ethics Model", the 4th Shanghai Outstanding Specialist Physician Award for Benevolent Physicians, ASIA PACIFICCODHY YOU SCIENTIST AWARD, Shanghai Pujiang Talent, Shanghai "Medical Garden New Star" Outstanding Medical Talent, and Shanghai Health System 3.8 Red Flag bearer.
