Professor Wang Honglin from the Precision Research Center for Difficult Diseases in Our Hospital Was Awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) 2020 Original Exploration Program in Medical Sciences

Recently, Prof. Wang Honglin from the Center for Precision Research of Difficult Diseases (formerly the Center for Clinical Translational Research) was awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) 2020 Original Exploration Program in Medical Sciences (expert recommendation category) for his research on the Mechanistic Investigation of Nerve Blocking Using Scopolamine for Treatment of Psoriasis, with a total funding of 3 million RMB. It is reported that this project focuses on the key role of neuro-immune system interactions in psoriasis, and provides new strategies and methods for targeting the nervous system to effectively treat psoriasis and prolong the relapse time.
