Our Hospital Wins the Rising Star Award in the Best Employer Awards for Chinese Medical Institutions in 2017

On May 12, China Hospital Development Conference 2018 and Award Ceremony for the Best Employer Awards for Chinese Medical Institutions in 2017 were held in Hangzhou. The conference theme was “Talents Support Development, Brands Lead the Future”. Leaders and pioneers in the medical industry gathered to discuss and communicate on the topic. During the conference, the Award Ceremony of the Best Employer Awards for Chinese Medical Institutions in 2017 was held. Our hospital won the Rising Star Award in the Best Employer Awards for Chinese Medical Institutions in 2017 and became the second public hospital in Shanghai to win an award in the Best Employer Awards for Chinese Medical Institutions in 2017 after Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University.

This time, more than 300 hospitals participated in the campaign; 35,500 doctors filled out the questionnaire. Data were collected using an anonymous questionnaire, which included 6 modules, i.e. hospital infrastructure, medical service quality, working environment and pressure, salary, benefits and treatment, hospital culture and emotion, personal promotion and development, and 24 specific indicators to assess a hospital’s situation. The final results came from the scientific and objective statistical analysis by McKinsey.

It’s reported the campaign for the Best Employer Awards for Chinese Medical Institutions was jointly initiated by DXY and the world top consulting company McKinsey. It’s the only one among similar campaigns in the medical industry to form results not through an expert review, but through direct grading by medical workers. The aim is to hear the voice of employees in medical institutions and promote the development of employer branding in medical institutions.
